When I started going to school for audio engineering, I met a lot of people I instantly connected with. Among them were Chris Marino and Cassie Fenkel.

We borrowed a mic from school one weekend, the Shure KSM 32, and recorded it at Cassies house. All the ending news samples were taken off her TV over the course of an hour while we tightened up the vocals.

It took me two months to write the lyrics to this song, because they were never mature enough or structured properly. Once I was happy with it though, the rest was a breeze.
